Dr Rachael Kay is a medically qualified doctor with extensive experience in hair restoration and over 23 years of practice within the NHS. She was trained in her craft at the prestigious Farjo Hair Institute where she still performs surgery today.

Dr Rachael is recognised for her diagnostic skill in understanding the complex causes of hair loss, particularly in Women, and for her precise, attention to detail technique when performing hair restoration surgery.

Having been recently awarded the Fellowship of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (FISHRS), Dr Rachael takes pride in her commitment to excellence, lifelong learning and the highest standards of patient care. Alongside this, she is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery (ABHRS), for whom she has been an examiner, demonstrating her international recognition and dedication to maintaining world-class standards in her field.

She has also served on the British Association of Hair Restoration Surgery (BAHRS) executive committee for six years, helping to develop provide a reliable source of information for patients whilst providing education for doctors and technicians across the UK. She actively contributes to conversations on patient safety, ethical practice and clinical standards.
